Individual Intake Sessions
I begin by meeting with each family member individually to build trust and integrate personal details.
I am at times a guide, at others a translator, and still others a detective, working to find the roots of the conflict -- but I am never a passive presence. I will partner with your family energetically and actively as we work together toward your specific needs and goals.
Family conflict rarely begins with the argument you're having today. More often, it reflects patterns that have been unfolding for years...or even generations.

Family sessions contain initial scaffolding work, deep exploration, fostering emotional safety, and skill-building.
I am a Clinical Psychologist, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a wife. Like you, I am firmly situated within a family system, with each of us swirling around each other in beautiful and perplexing patterns.
My role is to help families make sense of what has become difficult to understand. Together, we explore where behaviors, emotions, and conflicts come from, reconstruct the experiences that shaped them, and uncover the patterns that keep families stuck. From there, we work toward something different: relationships grounded in greater understanding, healthier boundaries, and more intentional ways of relating to one another.
I am licensed in the states of New York and Connecticut, and through PSYPACT, I am able to provide tele-therapy in most US states. I received my PhD from Columbia University in New York City and I have 14 years of experience working with families.

I am highly trained, experienced, and passionate about this work. I integrate family systems theory, psychodynamic case conceptualization, and third wave CBT approaches (ACT, DBT) to craft a treatment path for your family.
Modern day families tend to live further apart, and you deserve care that adapts. With licenses in CT, NY, and authority to practice under PSYPACT, I am able to provide treatment to 43 states!
Families often come to therapy after years of feeling stuck. My role is to keep us moving: asking difficult questions, highlighting patterns, and helping your family make meaningful progress rather than circling around the same problems.
Family conflict is almost never about one single disagreement. Communication skills are crucial, but aren't enough on their own; together, we'll explore the history, relationships, and patterns that brought you here. Lasting change begins with deeper understanding.
Yes! I see patients in-person in Greenwich, CT, and virtually across 43 different states.
I find that family therapy works best if we meet weekly; this allows us to prioritize the work and to maintain momentum. After the first 4-6 weeks, we can discuss changing the frequency if clinically indicated.
I do not take any insurance directly; however, I provide a superbill (a document with your diagnosis and all relevant codes and information) that you can submit to your health insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
Family therapy works best when everyone is willing to engage, but it is not always necessary for everyone to participate from the beginning. During our consultation, we'll discuss your family's specific situation and determine the approach most likely to be helpful.
Many families worry that talking about painful issues will create more conflict. In reality, avoiding those conversations often allows misunderstandings to deepen. My role is to create a structured, thoughtful environment where difficult conversations can happen safely and meaningfully.
My job is not to decide who is right or wrong. Instead, I work to understand each person's perspective while helping the family figure out what is keeping you stuck. Feeling understood does not mean avoiding accountability, and accountability does not require blame.
